Be sure to get the correct 230W charger for the Lenovo W700/W701. I recommend part # 42T5291 / 42T5290 which works great and is a genuine Lenovo charger.
A battery is included and the unit will ship fully charged..

It's the Ricoh multi-format flash card reader, not Smart Card
