Selling a T61 with blue screem bad motherboard. Should i sell or update and refurbish?
i have a T61 with blue screen of death. It needs parts replaced like a motherboard and video board. It still has original ram in..no hard drive..has 15inch screen with cam dvd/cd burner, big battery needs replacing doesnt charge anymore but present. Whats it worth as is and anyone interested in it or would it be worth finding the parts to get it going again and possibly upgrading things inside to make it better than it was. This model was the top in its time with fast speed when working properly. It started acting up when used to shut down on its own after few hours use. Then one day blue screen and that was it local tech savvy guy told me its the motherboard/video thats toast. Your input on upgrading is appreciated. Thanks

The BSOD might have been triggered by overheating.
Did you ever refresh the thermal paste?
It would also help if you give us the 7-char. TYPE from the label on the bottom.
BTW, there are no 15" T61, only 14.1" (standard and widescreen) and 15.4" widescreen (which is what you probably have).
If it's the motherboard, I would recommend a mobo with Intel graphics.
