WTB: ThinkPad 701C

Hi all,

Currently in a look out for a 701C in decent shape, had one all scratched up and the floppy port was broken... Pain.

This WTB is for a 701C and its recovery media if anyone has it. PM's welcome.

Hang on. More to come. I will soon have some 701s from Bill Morrow's and my collection I will refurbish and offer for sale.

Within about a week. I will not post details until I have the product in hand but let's just say it might be worth it to wait. Not like the woods are full of 701s anyway.

I have a complete, beautiful unit with working butterfly keyboard, but the mobo seems dead.

PM me if interested; I can share some photos. I don't think I will take any time to rebuild it.
