LF: THinkpad 755CV/CDV LCD Cover
I'm not sure if I want to buy one now but how much would it be for a good condition lcd cover piece?
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.
The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Check the HMM tpvol3.pdf, 6010 LCD cover on page 454
ftp://ftp.oldskool.org/pub/IBM_PC_BBS/m ... tpvol3.pdf
I have a complete 12.1" lid with XGA LCD (see above link), that will fit on (among others) 760E and 760X.
It measures ca. 8-1/4" x 11-5/8" (21 x 29.5 cm).
If that works for you, $25 shipped.

Re: LF: THinkpad 755CV/CDV LCD Cover
Yeah that is not going to work. Its a 10.4 inch screen and the cover is removable to expose the overhead projector glass surface so the laptop can be used as a slide projector. This is one of the oddball (I say that with utmost affection) Thinkpads that are now rare as hens teeth. Very very few of these were sold. I think maybe a couple of the veteran members here may have a complete model but it is going to be very hard to find a spare cover.
