SOLD: A31p for parts

This is my personal A31p. I havent used it in a very longggg time. Proceeds from selling it will help me get my next thinkpad

A31p
15" UXGA 1600x1200
2653-R5U
512MB ram
60GB hard drive
NO OPERATING SYSTEM INCLUDED. HARD DRIVE WILL BE FORMATTED. (or possibly recovery partition will be activated to restore it)

The GOOD:
I think LCD doesn't have horizontal lines (however, it does have a problem, see THE BAD)
AC adapter works
Motherboard works
Hard drive still works
Might still have recovery partition.
Wifi/bluetooth work
I think optical CD/RW works but Im not sure.
Keyboard is dirty and used but in pretty good shape

The BAD:
Housing beat up, has various cracks around screws..missing alot of screws too. Not sure why. I must have taken it apart for some reason.
LCD turns on pink and goes off after a second...I think that means the bulb is dying/dead (can be fixed though I believe)
Hard drive will come formatted. Im not sure if it still has recovery partition. If it does, I will run that instead to erase the drive back to factory.
No main battery included, just a ultrabay battery which holds a few seconds of charge.

turns out the recovery partition IS intact..
I ran the recovery and now it has the fresh IBM load of windows XP professional on it

-- Your A31p machines Motherboard is ok (gpu !) (the rest does not matter, I still have lots of remaining parts) and
-- if it is an firegel 7800 (64mb) system,
-- if You are prepared to send to Germany (Europe)

if you just want the motherboard, we can split the cost by you taking the motherboard, ram and CPU while I take everything else. I'm gonna need this computer to test my lcds and I have a A30 motherboard for spare for that.

I have a "box" of several displays (I think all are UXGA, but all need replacing either the inverter (I should still have some) or, and thats hard to do (You need very fine instruments, patience and
patience to do it, perfect eyesight, steady hands, best case you have four (!) of them ), new backlights (I still have some, one tried, the rest stored, never used).

May be I have some working A31 (non P, I bought in order to use them for my A31P) I could offer...
