Free for the mailing cost - GPS handheld 7 inch

For many years I used a GPS receiver with my laptop [Microsoft Streets and Trips, DeLorme Street Atlas] but didn't want to try an expense Garmin or Magellan when those laptop programs became obsolete; not knowing if the fairly expensive single purpose units met my needs. So I bought the 7 inch XCODY as an experiment for $40.00 and found it was useful; it convinced me that spending more $$$$ would be worth it; so I graduated to Magellan.
If anyone wants to also give it a try, the XCODY is free for the cost of mailing it in the USPS medium Flat Rate box for $14.00. It isn't up to the quality of the better known brands, but you can get the feel of how these handhelds behave. I know in this age of smart phones a handheld may not be needed, but it does offer a larger screen than the cell phone.
