FS: Frankenpad-Spares T9500 CPU / X9000 / T61 14,1" 44C3933Board (Frankenpad ?)
Giving up on Frankenpad:
(1) spare CPU T9500
(2) spare CPU X9000,
both are listed to run in Frankenpad-Boards (see wiki)
(3) a 44c3933 T61-Systemboard (original T61 / 14,1") with Nvidia-chip NVS 140M,
Codes on the chip are: Nvidia, 26N3CD 00826A2, A Taiwan, NH3977.01R, G86-740-A2,
board bougth as new (was sealed, I opened the sealed package), but never tested. codes say that it has been has been produced summer 2008, but before August 2008. So: I can't promise that the nvidia-bug won't strike!!
Additional Info on the systemboard: TuuS indicated, that I might have had insufficient information, when i bought the board and when I posted it for sale (just these days) again. It may well be, that it is purely 14,1", impossible to use in a Frankenpad.
Prices are negotiable, postage to add, first ideas:
Spare T9500: 60$
Spare X9000: 80$
Spare-Board: 100$
PM welcome

that board is for a 14" widescreen T61 and won't fit a frankenpad.
On the 26th week of 2008 when this chip was made some of the factories were producing the new chips but they didn't carry a revision number so no way to be sure.
Good luck with your sale

Hello TuuS,
I used info from a Frankenpad Wiki (German), when I decided to look for a spare of that FRU as a second best ... That is where and why I took the chance... May be the info was not correct, my understanding not complete. I never tried to install, as I happened to have two working frankenpads, that did not die...
The other info is the one I have, too:
I has been produced in summer 2008, a short time before the change in production technique, but it has been produced in a time, where there was the risk of failure, still. That is what I wrote, I think.
I have been looking for boards, that have been produced after that date, for a long time, but I only got two, both from the US, both from dealers that promised function, both of earlier making, one showed no function (feedback from a user). This one is new (it was sealed when I got it, but I did not use & test it), it has the smaller gpu.
I have sold my Frankenpads, that is why I try to sell my spares. Prices are all negotiable, If board or chips show no function, there will be no question, money will be returned..
My Frankenpad, with Your board and led_display and RBS's mod of the cable/inverter worked all the time, even when I thought it dead, it was not. My wife's has been sold this week, still with a perfect conventional display. The second led-display has not been used, I'm selling it complete but only tested a short time years ago, now.
Happy trails and thanks for the comment!
