[FOUND] Portable Drive Bay 2000

I Have 560X and want to install some Linux OS from CD. But can't hook up and bool from any external CD drives (PCMCIA or USB). Have Portable Drive Bay (for UltraslimBay) but ThinkPad woun't boot from it.
With some magic can boot up from Floppy and use USB-CD powered from Y-cable from other Thinkpad (X201) but this combo works wery bad (CD stuck after about 50min of installing packages).

So question is - can 560X boot from Portable Drive Bay 2000?
Is there any Thinkpadders here that have Portable Drive Bay 2000 and can sell it to me?
