WTB: IBM KPH0035 Keyboard

#1 Post by stevesterns » Wed Mar 14, 2018 9:46 pm

Hi everyone,

I am scouring the internet for a beloved IBM KPH0035. I have yet to even find a single one for sale! I am very much interested in purchasing one if someone knows the whereabouts of one that is available for purchase!

Hahahahhaha

Good luck. I spent three years looking for one. I'm typing from it now, and the only way you will ever get it is when you pry it from my cold, dead hands

Well the thread is about year and a half old, so no wonder...

I'm a fellow Thinkpad and Trackpoint Keyboard enthusiast. I'm thinning out my herd and posting some of my older keyboards to ebay. Search for the KPH0035 and it will come up. https://www.ebay.com/itm/283916469879

Is that model a mechanical keyboard, like the IBM Model M series?
Threefold is the Time's pace: the Future comes not in haste, the Present is gone arrow fast, eternally still remains the Past.

Sadly they're rubber dome, and the TrackPoint on them is extremely dreadful if you're used to something like a T60, not to mention it sticks out like an inch when you put the soft rim cap on it. I personally think they're pretty awful to type on (SK-8812 and SK-8815 are way better imo), but I keep one to "match" my IBM mini: https://i.imgur.com/PZdl10o.png
