Does it have to be functional. I could probably make a dummy battery.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

I could 3d print a shell of a battery so that it looks nice. Won't actually contain any battery though because it is plastic(and maybe some coins for weight if you want that). I could see what I could put together. I have an X230T to experiment on.

I might also look into some sort of battery hack using a different battery, say for the x220
