I assume it doesn't include the tablet version? Because how is better than my X200T outdoor viewable with 400 nits IPS matte panel?

No, that statement includes all the Tablet versions. Seems like you're new and a bit uninitiated, so here goes:

You think a Toshiba display can beat a Hydis? Got to be joking matey...

Of all the displays made the for the X20xT, the Hydis were most sought after, with better colour reproduction and contrast than the other variants.

I currently have two X200Ts with outdoor panels in my possession, one doesn't even need to look at stats to tell it's an ordinary panel. In terms of brightness, yes, can't be beaten, but looks rubbish next to any Hydis T6x, even a T61P 1920p TN...

Some prefer LED, but I would argue the CCFL version features from a more balanced colour space with less blue spike, often found in early WLED.

If anyone is interested - make a reasonable offer. This part is being lined up for e-waste.

xsist did not respond to my PM in about 2-3 months, so I guess he's off (or the panel is in the bin :))

The panel needs X200 or X201 lid. X200s and X201s is not thick enough to accomodate the screen.

Dont the CCFL 800p X200 and X200s share the same lid? IIRC X200s's with CCFL 800p screens can be modded without a lid swap.

I haven't seen X200s w/CCFL having in hands more than 20 of those systems and never tried that neither investigated feasibility.

I have an 800p CCFL backlit X200s (indicated by the mercury warning in the lamp, as written on the bottom).

The Mercury warning doesn't necessarily mean it is a CCFL. It could be LED because AFAIK, they were all printed with that.
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Also screen doesnt get as bright, and overall looks similar to my CCFL displays. Might be wrong

Some of the early LEDs could be mistaken for CCFL. I tink the only way to tell is open it up or take it to an airport to x-ray it and look for the big box on the screen where the CCFL transformer is.
