Sorry, no commercial sellers allowed here without asking Bill
It's time to get this out of mom's house! This is an A31 2653-Q5U, P4M 2.0GHz, 1GB, 120GB 5400, XP Pro
I'm glad that was in my signature line, because it's been so long since I bought it I don't have that info anywhere else!
It worked fine for many years but did exhibit occasional BSODs. I was suspicious of a possible bad RAM slot hence my post-it note indicating. However I remember a conflict caused by the Netgear PCMCIA card and / or its software. The RAM slots are probably fine. I had replaced it with an R61 about 10 years ago, which will also be listed in coming weeks. I'm now typing from my P51.
Anyway this A31 sat for years. I pulled it out on my most recent trip home but could not get it to boot Windows. First I got a date & time BIOS error (dead CMOS battery?). I fixed it in BIOS, but it came up with a different error and would not load XP. That was weeks ago, and we've been on a few trips since, so I don't remember what exactly that error was. I did however take many pictures of what's here. Yet I somehow neglected to get a pic of the top of the machine or the inside. It's in excellent condition for a machine of this vintage.
There's the machine itself w/ main battery (dead), plus:
Ultrabay floppy drive
Ultrabay 250MB Zip drive
Ultrabay HDD adapter (sorry no drives included at this time)
(3) Ultrabay batteries (not maintained, probably shot)
External battery charger
(2) power adapters
02K8660 Type 2631 Advanced dock / port replicator w/ 2 keys & power cable (extra bits of Gaffer tape will come right off)
02K8667 / 02K8668 / 02K8669 port replicator
spare RAM chips
Netgear 802.11G card
(2) headsets (some foam rot)
soft Targus briefcase to hold it all

Asking $100 + shipping from 12304 or free pickup in upstate NY. Note I'm not local except around the holidays, but can facilitate local inspection & sale.
Please let me know if you have any questions, or if might know what the power up error is.
