Selling off some of my ThinkPad collection

#1 Post by ThinkPad560X » Wed Sep 19, 2018 12:02 pm

I been going through and thinking about getting rid of some of my ThinkPads I don't ever use anymore. I don't like to sell them but It is probably time to pass them to a new collector. So I'm putting them on here.
My ThinkPads are all in good clean condition. If want pictures of one let me know in PM and can email to you Can also give more specs. I am also powering on and cleaning each machine to make sure they are still good.

IBM WorkPad Z50 $25.00 In good clean condition, but will not power on. SOLD

IBM ThinkPad 701C in very good clean condition with just a small chip of plastic missing from the normal spot on these, the outside of hinge. complete with dock and battery with battery cover. $200 | still has original 515MB HDD with Windows 98 and original company owner from coors brewing company, Intel 80486 with 24MB RAM. I removed the CMOS battery to boot to the desktop or will get error message during boot. SOLD

IBM ThinkPad 310ED, Powers on but don't display anything. comes with battery and battery door cover. Has IBM manual book and may have software CD from IBM, will have to check to see. Cracked on back of lid, attempting to fix it now, but rest is in good clean condition. $25.00 Active

IBM ThinkPad 700 PS/2 hinge is broke and fixed it to open ok. It powers on and show blank display. It is missing a chip on the bottom so not sure if it needs it to full function. It has the all blue IBM ThinkPad logo. I think the 700 PS/2 is the very first ThinkPad laptop next to 700C. Still has battery too, with like new trackpoint that came on the first ThinkPads that looked like a eraser on pencil. $40.00 SOLD

IBM ThinkPad 560 Parts laptop $10.00 SOLD
Lenovo ThinkPad T420 $100 Intel Core i5, Nice clean like new still. Windows 7 Pro with COA still on it. SOLD

IBM NetVista S40 Slim desktop Type: 6645 SOLD $100 Custom Intel OEM motherboard can be upgraded to a Intel Core I processor. This desktop was kind of rare and never found too much on it. Would of liked to find the slide on floppy drive for it. But I only had the case so I bought a mini Intel brand motherboard for it. It even had a mini dock for the IBM WorkPad https://www.google.com/search?q=IBM+Net ... 8883811226

Just throwing this in.

SAMSUNG Galaxy S4 like new complete in box and accessories plus with it a 2nd SAMSUNG Galaxy S4 with no OS on it in same like new condition. $50.00
SOLD

I will add more later but these are some for now. I will update this if they are sold. I can only ship in the USA and I use Paypal.
Thanks for looking.

Maybe selling IBM ThinkPad 760XD with large docking station with drives and ports $150 if I do sell it. Active
I can understand the pain of parting with a good 760 machine. I parted with mine the hard way when it finally gave up and died on me one day about six months ago.

I remember it is in one of the slots in the back, the place where normally RAM would go on other thinkpads.

It does have the rom module and missing the stick of RAM but looks like a soldered RAM is under where the upgrade RAM can go.

What does it boot too? I never got to boot the Windows CE on it? Is it like Windows 98?

Yep, Windows CE. It looks like windows 95/98, and functions similarly, but only runs applications made for windows CE.

I am probably putting my original fat PlayStation 3 up for sale (CE126009376-CECHA01). It is in almost like new condition with very light scratches and shined up well. I did test a PSone, PS2 and PS3 game disc in it and they all played fine. This is the full backward compatibility PS3. It is just for the console, Power Cord and original Box for collecting. (No controller). I fixed the console and added new thermal paste (Artic Silver 5) to the 2 processor chips and cleaned the fan.
The PS3 when powered on will run fine but the fan will speed up and run loud. I had it on for 4 hours till it shut off but it turned back on when I let off for a few minutes. The system been sitting on my shelf for a few years and decided to get it working again but just probably going to sell it to someone that likes the old original and can keep it running. $90 plus $10 shipping.

Also still have ThinkPads and ThinkCentres for sale.

Just added this since I may not get to work with it. IBM Personal System 50Z 1988 desktop, also still have a brand new in box Kingston processor upgrade kit. Has I think the largest HDD you could get for it, a 40MB HDD. Will have to ask for more specs. Still in very nice clean condition. $250.00

I am moving soon, so may have more PCs or other electronics for sale.

ThinkPad 310ED powers on but don't get any beeps. It has 2 32MB sticks of ram. Disc Drive opens up and HDD turns on but no display. The lid is cracked. may have a replacement with keyboard that can send with it for free. The laptop was never beaten but the crack must be just the age of it opening up and closing. The laptop is in very good shape accept for the lid crack and missing the lid latch, like what ThinkPad 560 has.

If you plug it in to an external display (crt, etc) does it work?

I also have a APPLE IIc Computer A2S4000 that I rescued and cleaned it up. It is compete accept for missing the external monitor and a shift key.
It is on ebay now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-APPLE- ... SwDSRcmkak

It was going to get thrown away but I saved it along with all the Apple stuff I could find for it. I looked everywhere for a apple monitor but didn't see one.

IBM ThinkPad X41 Tablet with a 16GB SSD and recovery CDs $75.00 Active

IBM ThinkPad X60 Tablet $80.00 Active

IBM ThinkPad i1200 $40.00 Active Intel Celeron 550MHz, 160MB RAM, 80GB HDD with Windows XP Pro. Good clean condition with a hair crack on LCD bezel. comes with battery. I replaced the LCD lid back in the day on this witch is still like new.

IBM ThinkPad i1400 $50.00 Active Intel Celeron 500MHZ, 64MB RAM, original 5GB HDD with its original Windows 2000 Pro on it. Has 2 lines on LCD, not sure if it is the LCD ribbon loose or not. It is in good clean condition with a hair crack on the LCD lid. Still has battery too.

SOLD

Lenovo ThinkCentre M82 Tower Type: 3302-F1F Active $100
Lenovo ThinkCentre M82 Slim Desktop Type: 2756-4C3 Active $100
IBM NetVista S40 Slim desktop Type: 6645 Active $100 Custom Intel OEM motherboard can be upgraded to a Intel Core I processor.

$50.00 Active

I will add more later but these are some for now. I will update this if they are sold. I can only ship in the USA and I use Paypal.
Thanks for looking.
Hullo,

Do you still have the two Samsung Galaxy 4 phones? What color are they, if still available? Thanks.

I have for sale:

Toshiba Satellite 320CDS $20.00 ( Intel Pentium MMX, Battery charge light comes on but doesn't turn on. may need checked inside. Still in very good condition.

IBM ThinkPad 310ED $20.00 (Intel Pentium MMX, has Battery and powers on but don't show display or beeps. Comes with it IBM internal nonpower CD-ROM drive "It is a feature as machine don't have to be powered on to open disc drive" and a extra screen complete in case as other case is cracked, this screen has a hair crack to but better then installed one. I think this was a flaw with this machine with lid. Has original white IBM manual book 310ED and software CD.

Add $10 for shipping plus paypal fee.

I have a extra ThinkPad 560X that I am going to test here in a little, I found the memory door for it.

ThinkPad 560X powers up and boots to bios. No extended memory inside but memory door is on. No battery and missing lid latch. Machine is clean and has both rubber door covers on it. PCMCIA rubber door is torn a little and a their is a crack in the palmrest bezel by the FN key "The skinny strip edge" but can probably glue it and be perfectly fine. Backlight is out but still displays image on screen, so LCD is still good. lid, keyboard and palmrest is in very good condition. This was my personal ThinkPad 560X back then as my badge name sticker is still on it. There is no HDD. If it is missing the HDD ribbon I have extras. But it should still be in there.

This machine will be fully working and complete if replace LCD backlight, get a battery and lid latch.

I already have a 560X and 560Z so I don't need this 560X. I'd say this machine is more for repair then use for parts as it is almost complete.
By the way the square cutouts on the early ThinkPads like this was for your name plate. I'll take my name off this one and place on my other ThinkPad 560X.

$25, plus $10 shipping.
