FOUND: Windows XP Pro 64
FOUND: Windows XP Pro 64
I need a copy of Windows XP Pro 64 for use with legacy programs that are not compatible with Windows 7 or any other version. Specifically, Flight Simulator 9 with the Greatest Airliners Dreamfleet 727 add-on among other 3rd party scenery add-ons.
This needs to be a full install with a VALID AUTHENTIC key code.
I know I am probably asking for the moon, but if you have a copy with a valid key code let me know what you want for it.

Re: WTB: Windows XP Pro 64
I might be able to grab a key from my T60p which Im pretty sure has one on the bottom. And if I dig far enough I think I have an ISO for it too...though not a recovery disk. I can't check till friday or Saturday but I'll see what I can find you.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Re: WTB: Windows XP Pro 64
Is this a 64 bit ISO?
Is a key code for XP Pro 32 bit and a key code for XP Pro 64 bit the same, or can be used for either?
If this is so, I have a kex code that should be good from one of my old XP Pro 32 machines that I have Windows 7 loaded on now.
Whatever is used it has to authenticate over the phone.
Thanks for looking.

Yeah I know I downloaded it at one point.... definitely XP x64. I just gotta find it....but I won't have access to my T60p nor my drives with that ISO until Friday or Saturday to confirm either.MikalE wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 7:22 pmIs this a 64 bit ISO?

On the key part...Im not sure.
In the meanwhile....you can see if you can find your own copy of the ISO along with this Key site. Not sure if any are valid but worth taking a look.

Re: WTB: Windows XP Pro 64
I just found a brand new new sealed copy on e-bay for under $30 bucks.
Guaranteed brand new and unactivated with the original product key in the plastic container. It is for refurbished systems so the requisite mother board has to be offered according to MS licensing and e-Bay policy.
THis should work out well.
The reason for the 64 bit copy is that MS Flight Simulator is memory intensive and I have never been able to take advantage of higher memory capacity greater than 2 GB on a 32 bit machine. On a 64 bit machine MSFS should show frame rate at full scenery intensity of at least 40-60 FPS with no stuttering or pausing.
Thanks for your posted reply. I didn't think finding a new copy of the 64 bit system would be so easy or I would have checked e-Bay first.

Re: FOUND: Windows XP Pro 64
My new copy of XP Pro 64 arrived today.
It was in a sealed box with the COA and key code right where is was supposed to be.
Now just waiting on the new hard drive for the T520.
