SOLD: X61s, X61s, X60s all working

#1 Post by BobA » Sat Feb 09, 2019 10:43 pm

I have these three systems that have been gathering dust. I went to fix one up for a friend - and the fan is noisy. So I ordered a new fan and got half-way through disassembling .. and I just want to get rid of these systems. It's too much for me. $75 for all three .. you pay shipping (~$15). They all run ..

X60s - 1702-A11 .. 500G/7200 HDD that is empty so can't check if boots to OS, plastics pretty good, LCD pretty good. The system used to boot before I cleaned the drive.
X61s - 7667-A21 .. 100G/7200 HDD booted okay to Ubuntu before I took it apart. This is the one with the noisy fan. I have all of the parts - just don't want to put it back together. I include a good fan (I assume it's good) I bought on eBay .. the 42X3804 fan.
X61s - 7667-34U .. fan is starting to get a little noisy. I had an HDD in it but need to erase it someday so will send the system with a 40GB/5400 SATA drive

2x batteries included. I'm not sure of the status of the batteries.

Please don't ask for pictures. These are good for kids and not picture perfect. If you aren't happy with them, I'll refund some money.
As I said, I just want to be done with these. If you don't like my price, please make an offer.

It says he is from Vancouver, Washington...so yes.
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Yes, I am in the state of Washington (as Thinkpad4by3 said) just across the Columbia from Portland Oregon. I am curious why you ask ..

Most people think there is only one Vancouver, and that it's in British Columbia, Canada.

Other cities have similar problems, e.g. there are at least 10 (ten) cities of Dublin worldwide.
The only real one (my hometown) is Dublin in Ireland, the others are mostly in USA.

Berlin is worse, there are dozens of them in USA alone!
