I'm too happy with my X230 FHD and need the space. So, up for sale are a couple of systems:

X61 T8300
First my spare X61 with the (more or less) rare Intel Penryn T8300 2.4GHz CPU.
Additional specs: XGA display, 4GB RAM, WWAN antennas and Sierra MC8775, 2. fan, bluetooth, Intel 4965AGN, fingerprint reader, card reader, Intel 40GB SSD. Genuine 8-cell battery with 43% capacity and original charger. Keyboard layout is german QWERTZ in good condition.
The cover of the PCMCIA slot is broken, otherwise it's in good condition.

X61 Slice battery, Panasonic 2007-11-13/2009-05-11, 145 cycles, 26160/28080 mWh 93.2%, FRU 40Y7903 - 20€ NOW INCLUDED.

Price 160€ plus shipping.

T60 15" 4:3
This is a great base for FrankenPad due to the enforced structure frame.
Specs: T2400 1.83GHz, XGA, 1GB RAM, Intel 3965, no bluetooth. There is a dent in the lcd cover and the palmrest is broken next to the buttons. Genuine 6-cell battery, Sony with 24% capacity, original charger, german QWERTZ layout in good condition.

Price 70€ plus shipping.

X301
2776LEG, WXGA+ 1440x960, SU9400 1.4GHz, Intel 5300 Wifi, Webcam, 4GB RAM, 1,8" Intel SSDSA1M080G2H 80GB SSD, fingerprint, bluetooth, WWAN, w/o CD drive. Comes with 2 genuine 6-cell batteries, Sanyo 91% and Sanyo 48% capacity, original charger. German QWERTZ in great condition.

Even as a person with quite the decked out X61 (which I'm not giving up on any time soon), I have to question how *rare* the X61 with T8300 CPU is. I know it's not the most common one on the market, but Santa Rosa was still mass-produced during the last few batches of factory-made x61 machines -- as my understanding has it, anyway.

Still, I think your price is fair (although your battery does leave a little to be desired at the price point you put it at -- why not sell the slice battery with the X61 machine?)

You could also update that wifi card -- your machine will appreciate you by not entering an early over-heating death.

Happy sales.

Hi madicetea,

thanks for your input. It's not as rare as the T9300, but here in Germany you can hardly find any with T8300, even less a model with T9300. The T8300 seems to have a little advantage over the T9300 when it comes to Pin modding/overclocking. Even so, I scratched the "rare", the slice battery is now included and I'm looking for a cooler wifi card. My own X61 T8300 SXGA+ (+USB3 via Expresscard :D ) really profited from a Intel 6205...maybe I have one more lying around here...

Prices reduced.

Greetings,
