[SOLD] X201s - i7 M620, 8GB, 480GB SSD, Win10 Pro, MS Office 2016
EDIT: Sold! And I contributed ten percent to the forum...
Too many ThinkPads, episode 127:
It's finally time to part from my long-time favorite, a true ThinkPad X201s in beautiful condition, with a perfect screen, near-new keyboard, plus dock and dock modules. (Not an X200s with a X201s system board, but the rare X201s.)
Here are the details:
Type 3680-G78, S/N R905886, 10/07
Windows 10 Pro, activated with code from sticker on RAM door
Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus (activated; purchased-license type, NOT Office 365; no sign-in required)
Non-whitelist BIOS installed
Upgraded to 8GB RAM
Upgraded to 480GB Intel SSD
Upgraded to Intel AC 7260 wi-fi (NO BLUETOOTH)
Fingerprint reader
NO TouchPad (easily installed by replacing the bezel; around $20 on eBay at most)
Keyboard replaced and in excellent condition
Newly-installed 47+ 6-cell battery; charges to 100%; apparently authentic Lenovo
1440x900 screen (standard X201s screen)
New power supply
EDIT: Also included: a USB 3.0 card (two ports) that can be used in the ExpressCard slot. It's instantly recognized by Windows 10 when installed (Renascence USB 3.0).
UltraBase dock in perfect condition
Unlocked, no key (but key-order code is on base if you want to buy a key)
SATA Ultrabay module
DVD writer Ultrabay module
Lightweight spacer module
I've wiped the disk and created a no-password admin account that you can use or remove.
BIOS has default settings; no passwords or fingerprint data; Computrace permanently disabled.
Photos here: https://imgur.com/a/4RwB8BQ (my phone's camera makes the screen look weird; it's actually perfect).
Shipping: free, in 48-state US only. (I'll ship only to the 48-state US; customs forms take more time and trouble than I can manage.)
These beautiful machines seem to be very rare these days. One was sold here a few months ago; I don't see any on eBay.
Price (sold only as a complete package): $300

Still for sale! I should have made clear that I'll ship only to the 48-state US.

This is still for sale, but a private message asked about USB 3.0. The X200/201 series only had USB 2.0, but this reminded me that I have a USB 3.0 ExpressCard for this unit, and I'll add it to the sale. It's recognized immediately by Windows 10 (it's a Renascence USB 3.0 controller).
