FS: X31 ThinkPad

This laptop had sold last weekend with the others, but unfortunately the young lady had a more serious need for the money (car repairs) so I agreed to cancel the sale.

Here is what is available:

X31 Model 2672-C8G - 1.4GHz - 40GB (MFG date August 6, 2004) - 1GB of RAM (IBM & Kingston)- Intel 802.11b Wireless (Centrino) - English Keyboard - Windows XPP COA - Remainder of 3yr. IBM Warranty thru December 2006 - Battery - A/C Adapter - Copies of the five X31 Restore CD's --> PRICE - $999 delivered to Mainland US. Sales to other areas might be accepted. However, the buyer would have to pay the shipping which may be substantial.

It is in wonderful condition, very clean, perfect screen, and far superior to what one can expect to purchase on eBay. The battery is original IBM and charges to 100%. It has almost 70% of it's design capacity remaining. The Restore CD's are a more recent vintage from Nov. 2004 containing Win XP SP2 version. The serial number will be provided to buyer prior to sending payment so verification can take place. The hard drive was reset to factory image, but I recently updated both the Windows OS and the IBM Software & Drivers so the buyer can just power up and use it. No major time commitment for you other than your personal settings and adjustments.

If you receive the laptop and it isn't what I represented just call me that same day, re-pack everything as carefully as I did, and send it back to me. All I ask is that you are honest in you assesment and you give me the opportunity to make things right.

I will accept US or Canadian Postal Money Orders, Cashiers Checks from a major US bank, or even PayPal (if you pay the fee).
