SOLD: W700 with AC adapter

#1 Post by Screamer » Wed Apr 24, 2019 12:19 pm

This has been mostly sitting unused for quite some time, and I figured that somebody might have a better use for it. Also, if you happen to have a Carousell account, you might want to check out the listing here.

Specifications:
Intel Core 2 Extreme X9100 3.06GHz (SLB48, C0 stepping)
NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M (MXM 2.1, Type III)
Intel 82PM45 + Intel 82801IEM (PM45 chipset, the management engine is still active)
2x Kingston 2GB DDR3-1066 PC3-8500 CL7 SO-DIMM (dual-channel)
Hitachi Travelstar 5K1000 (1000GB, 5400RPM, 8MB buffer cache, 9.5mm, SATA)
Segate Momentus Thin/Laptop Thin HDD (500GB, 7200RPM, 32MB buffer cache, 7mm, SATA)
HL-DL-ST GT30N, CD-RW/DVD+RW/DVD-RAM (2MB buffer cache, 12.7mm, Micro SATA)
Intel Ultimate N Wi-Fi Link 5300 (802.11abgn, 3x3:3, full-size MiniPCI-E card)
17" 1440x900 TN CCFL LVDS display (somewhat yellowed out, but it is not too bad)
Super Ultra Crappy 9-cell Sanyo lithium-ion battery (does not hold much of a charge, and it is likely to be badly worn out)
AuthenTec AES2810 fingerprint reader on the palmrest, does not have the Pantone huey PRO colorimeter or the Wacom digitizer pad
(Images)

Important notes:
Currently, it has Windows XP Professional x64 Service Pack 2 installed on the Travelstar. The Momentus Thin does not have anything stored on it at the moment.

The trackpad's left-click button seems to be functional, but I have noticed it being unresponsive at times. The trackpad's right-click button on the other hand, is completely wacko and is apparently always 'activated'.

The AC adapter's connector is probably not compatible with this W700, but it does fit and charge successfully (only half of the AC adapter's connector gets through).

The keyboard is horribly worn out, with so much darn shine on the key caps that it could probably rival a glossy display panel in terms of shininess. The integrated numeric keypad seems to be in decent shape, though.

Price and shipping:
150 SGD/110 USD, and I will not ship this black brick internationally. The costs for overseas shipping alone, is going to spike the original price to near unreasonable levels.

EDIT: Added the required pictures for the W700.
EDIT2: Sold to a carousell user.
