I’m selling my X230 with an i5-3320M 2.6 GHz processor, 12.5 inch IPS display, 16GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. It’s a model 2325-JS1, s/n PK-03Z2H, and mfg. date of 13/07.

The SSD is a 256GB Samsung PM851 mSATA and the OS reports 237GB usable.

The keyboard is a non-backlight model.

I installed Windows 10 Pro as a free upgrade from Windows 7 Pro. I can restore the computer to Windows 7 Pro with the factory DVDs if you prefer.

The laptop is fully functional and in very good to excellent cosmetic condition. I only sell top condition laptops.

The 90W AC adapter is included along with a working 44+ battery (no guarantee as to capacity or life).

I'm being told that this laptop doesn't have an IPS display. Is there an easy way to check? Thanks.

With HWINFO you can find the exact LCD you have, then look up its specs on the web.
Or go with your S/N (without the dash -) to: https://support.lenovo.com/ie/en/partslookup
Select the Configuration: Model
Find the LCD in that list and check its Part No. against the X230 frubom/partslist.
And unless someone swapped it, yours does not have IPS.

I appreciate your reply and the PM from Ajkula66. A college student who I mentor bought this on eBay a year ago and the seller’s listing showed an IPS display. I will run diagnostics today and find out the real story.

CORRECTION

The display is a

LEN40E0
LTN125AT01401

which, when I search the web, comes up as TN not IPS. Sorry.
