WTB T70

#1 Post by Yuzu » Sat Feb 01, 2020 12:08 pm

Hi all,

I'm increasingly unsatisfied with my T460p and looking back fondly on my T60p. Does anyone have a complete nb51 T70 they'd be willing to part with for a reasonable amount?

Thanks!!

hello and welcome to the forum.. :)

i have several T61p's.. one works one has the MB issue.. those are the widescreen versions.. do have one or two others of the same generation.. i shipped most ALL of my thinkpads to indiana to be sold late last year including an S30 and some other rare thinkpads..
i kept one S30, my T60p 15 inch and maybe another one or two..
my thoughts are i can't get enough $$ to part with them but i don't use them and i did not want the collectable thinkpads winding up on i dumpster or sold to strangers by my estate..
i don't know what it would take to pry the T60p from me but the T61's are cheap..

They’ve been out of production and is considered a collector’s item. Price is quite high and difficult to acquire too.

That's a pity :(
Any rumours about them making new boards with 8th gen CPUs for 15" T60?
That would be so awesome.

Closest you'd be able to get is the X2100 with a 13" 3000:2000 screen
