Hello everyone,

I'm looking for X62 machine or mobo alone. Europe preffered.
In the last resort it can be T50 or T70 :).



Hope you can help me find my dream machine.

I've already got X230 and I'm looking for something smaller like X6x series. T50/70 for fun :D.

Fair enough. Failing this you could probably find a T8300 X61 and overclock it using that pin mod.

the thinkpad de forum seems to suggest that you'll have a difficult / impossible time with pinmod OCing a T8300

and considering how rare they are I wouldn't even try it imho. 2.4GHz is about the max the X61 cooling (even best heatsink) can do... no way you're getting 3.46GHz (pinmod+dual IDA multiplier) out of it

but I'd be happy to be proven wrong

You still looking for an X62? I might want to part with mine when the X2100 arrives. It's a 4th batch motherboard with an i5-ES 5200u, hi-res display, 16GB and a 1TB SSD (although I might put the SSD in the X2100).
