I am sorry for hijacking the topic, but i have some words to add to "ThinkPad Limited Edition" thread.

If X30 (and NOT S31) is the 10th anniversary (IBM),
Reserve Edition (X61s) is the 15th anniversary (Lenovo),
and TP25 - is 25th anniversary (Lenovo)...
There should be 20th anniversary edition... and it is here - on FeeBay;)

When i have searched for TP25 keyboard last time - i have find this:

What is wrong with this ThinkPad?
- dead power socket;(
- 20th anniversary should have note near the power button - but this one haven't.
- other note should be engraved on bottom case - but there is no photos from the bottom.
--- real 20th anniversary should have wooden sticks (for japan meals) and red pocket for them;)

So i don't want this unit... but it is one of 500. It is more rare than 10th anniversary...

One more hint... some day searching japanes Yahoo auctions i have find other interesting ThinkPad - X1 Carbon Japan Limited Edition. Based on X1c 3nd gen.

For a long time i thought that:
Reserve Edition (X61s) is the 15th anniversary (Lenovo)...

But last week i have find other kind of ThinkPad 15th anniversary edition on japanese Yahoo auction. Initially thought that it is joke but more investigation have showed that it was build separate from Reserve Edition. It was built in late autumn when Reserve Edition already have been shipped to new owners.

I know that there is already topic about 15th anniversaryhere, but it is from 2011 and i don't want to necropost here.
So i post link to cnet article about group of thinkpads on lenovo exhibition including 15th anniversary. It is japanese article and you can google translate it, but more interesting is photos that can be zoomed to see these good old boys.
I have searched for unique number on 15th anniversary and Reserve Edition and haven't find any, but 10th, 20th and 25th have these numbers.

And all this limited edition thinkpads (15th, 20th and japan only) are gone. I believe they find new lovely homes.
