Hi,
Anyone knows where I can acquire an HDD with Caddy or just the Caddy for my Thinkpad 700/700C?
Thank you
Sam

So, in my part of the world (California, USA), about the only place you can find old equipment like this is on eBay.com.
In fact, there's one right now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/143429284199
I found it by looking at the Hardware Maintenance Manual for the 700 system: http://ps-2.kev009.com/ohlandl/books/tpvol2.pdf Page 115 shows the exploded view of the 700 series laptop. The parts lists that follows shows that there were four hard drives available and what their part numbers are:
95F4743, 95F4744, 66G3200, 53G7862
Searching eBay returns three listings, with the one I listed above probably being the best result (shows photos of the drive and the instructions that came with it).

Pretty comprehensive little kit there, but man that's expensive. You can get a 2TB laptop HDD for less than that.
