IBM Thinkpad T42 in great condition.

This is what comes up under warranty status:
This product has a three year limited warranty which includes a warranty upgrade. This product is entitled to parts and labor and is entitled to IBM EZServ. This machine is also entitled to the IBM Thinkpad Protection Service.

Everything is in great condition with no dead pixels. The only thing that I can possibly see as a turn off is part of the "S" is scratched off somehow. I'm going to call IBM tomorrow and have them replace the keyboard right away.

**Update**
I just ordered a new keyboard and battery from IBM and should have that in about 2-3 days along with the recovery cds'.

I'll consider trades now as well. I'm really looking to get a Thinkpad Tx with a 15" screen. In addition to this T42, I have a T40 2373-92u. That one has the same specs as when you look it up online but I added 1.0gb of ram and replaced the 80gb hd with a 60gb 7200 rpm drive. It also has the next day warranty service good until January of 2007.

i'm interested in this. so everything is in good condition? how long has it been used? oh and what stuff does it come with? chargers and cd's and stuff?
