Hello everyone I am selling a modded Thinkpad x220

I am selling this laptop due to the Linux Operating System incompatibility, which I require for my job.

Linux system can be run, but they require workarounds.

I have tested Windows 10 Operating System and it runs very well.

This Laptop was originally a Lenovo Thinkpad x220.

It has been modified and upgraded by ThinkPad enthusiasts.

This laptop is highly customisable.

You can upgrade yourself:

BIOS are also unlocked, so you can tinker CPU voltages to optimise the performance.

I suggest only people with experience attempt this.

Please ensure you have read all the following before considering buying this laptop:

The keyboard is United States Layout, see pictures. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed and it is not activated, you need your Windows activation key.

Caps lock LED does not light up when pressed, this is due to the Display upgrade.

As this laptop uses a custom BIOS to allow the quad-core CPU, do not try to use Lenovo BIOS.

As this laptop has the FHD Display mod, it is only possible to extend the display in Windows by pressing the Windows key + p and then selecting "Second screen only."

For the same reason, brightness control works only in specific cases. If you have good ThinkPad knowledge you won't have any issues in making it work. It is by default in full brightness.

I have not tested the following but presume they do no work:

Finger Print Scanner does not work (I was not able to find compatible drivers for Windows 10)

The laptop integrated dock does not work.

Bluetooth does not work (I was not able to find compatible drivers for Windows 10)
