Hello from NZ.

Been here a long time but not posted for ages. Should be in the positive feedback list.

Recently bought a faulty T480 and would like to replace the motherboard with a known going one.

I have the fan for the model without the discrete GPU but can look at ones with the GPU if it comes with the fan heatsink assembly.

Mine is an i5 8250u so that generation is what I'm looking for.

Please include a price to Central North Island (non rural) address.

Beware that Microsloppy's Wunnerful Windows 11 will not work with Intel CPUs that are other than very recent models.

One of my almost identical T480 computers does not qualify despite having i7 processor, the other does despite also having a slightly later i7 (and slower one!).

IIRC there are a few i5s in Microsloppy's list.

The list may be subject to change.
Intel's web site is difficult to use, I finally got enough pages/files to compare the two i7 processor models.

T480 has good TPM and some other features demanded by Microsloppy. T480 is 2019 model.
