Free T400s project

FOUND a new home, locking thread. T400s, 2801CTO project. Came back from my FIL last year as too slow. No argument, too…slow…but it does boot to W7. Tested for a week or two last April(2020), cleared Lenovo diagnostics but very slowly. Did clean install of W7 and W7 updates on original dvd optical drive, still slow. 8 GB ram but original 1.8” HDD.
If I wanted to spend money then I would replace that first, with an mSata drive and adapter. All original parts except upgraded Ram, 3 pressure/light small spots on screen, working dvd drive, old battery,(CMOS replaced a few years ago). Will include 90w power supply.
