WTB: ThinkPad with 32GB RAM, and 512GB SSD, Win 11 Pro

Hey all,

I’m looking for a used ThinkPad to build my IT project portfolio. I’ve been away from Windows for a few years, so I’m trying to get back into it.

Ideal specs would be:

• 32GB RAM
• 512GB SSD
• Windows 11 Pro
• AMD preferred, but Intel is fine

I’m a broke student, so my budget is around $250 (can stretch a little if it’s a really good deal).

If anyone has something close to this or knows someone selling, please let me know. I’d really appreciate it.

Did you a certain model, processor, or aesthetic in mind? 32GB is going to be tough to come by in the RAM Apocalypse unless you're willing to step back to DDR3 which puts you in W520/30/40 territory.

The 'old' T480 can do it all, even with 64GB RAM.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!

64GB (in 2x32 config) is a king's ransom now. For S&G I put 64GB of used DDR 2400 into my Precision in 2023 I think for $120, I could probably retire if I sold them now.
