I just recieved this new T43 from IBM/Lenovo as a replacement for them botching up my T42. It is brand new, and I just took it out of the box to check for dead Pixels. It has none!

The Let Me Build It price for this configuration from IBM directly is 1679.00 for those are shopping around.

You didnt hit the "Update Price" button. It actually comes out to 1859. And that is without the accessories that I have. The HDD ultrabay adapter is 50 dollars on top of that alone.

Hi! I offer you 1549 for the Thinkpad. How's the fan noise? I heard with newer models (late 2005) they have become less noisy. Thank you.
