Anyone need new indicator light plates for the T-series?

#1 Post by Rob » Wed Nov 02, 2005 12:35 pm

Well, I added bluetooth to my T43, so I ordered the indicator light plates. Of course, I only needed the bluetooth plate for the T43, so I've got all the others.

I've got 1 each of:

With bluetooth - T41, T41p, T42, T42p, T43p
without bluetooth - T41, T41p, T42, T42p, T43 (2x), T43p

I also have some "LG-IBM" plates. I don't know what those are used for.

Let me know!

Hi Rob,

I'm VERY intersted in both of the T41 (Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth). How much do you want for them?

Cheers,

Bill

If you want the upper lid indicator plates (the ones that show bluetooth, power, and standby) I only have 2 non-bluetooth plates.

Sorry, just realized your in Australia. I have to see how much shipping is. What about $1.50+shipping?

Let me know!

I'll be interested in T42p and T43p plates if you still have them.

You've got PM!

I would be interested in the T42 plates, both with and without bluetooth.

I am thinking of adding bluetooth to my T42, how hard was your installation?
The card should be an easy switch but I don't have the antenna installed in the screen, I was thinking of putting it in the base and seeing how the reception would be.
Was there much software to change?

Thanks

Installation was simple, but I already had the antenna install. The keyboard is a user-removable part.

The software was already there. I just turned on the card with FN+F5, and it found it and started installing it.

I have had the keyboard off before and took out the modem card, unfortunately I did not find a bluetooth antenna anywhere.
I think I will try it with the antenna somewhere in the base, I think some models of T43 have the antenna in the base so it might work.

If you have extra plates for the T42 I would be interested in them, a T42 with bluetooth plate for if the installation works, and a non bluetooth one in case I screw up the one on here now when I take it off.

Did your bluetooth led start working when you installed the bluetooth?

Thanks
