This is a great desktop replacement for everything except new games
and serious graphics stuff. It's in excellent condition.

It ships in the original box with an AC adapter.

I'll format the hdd and install OS (s) and open source app's
and the newest IBM utilities. The BIOS has been updated to IBM's
newest.

I bought it off-lease from IBM less than 6 months ago.

It's stock except that I upgraded the ram to 2x256 crucial cas2
and added a floppy.

It's a PIII M 933MHz/512K/133x, 14.1 LCD, 512MB RAM, 20G HDD, Win2K, CDROM,
FDD. It has all the great IBM features including Video out, 10/100 LAN,
56K modem and of course USB, IR, sound, Parallel and Com ports.

It's Linux friendly; I run Knoppix 3.3 with absolutely no prob's.

The battery is good for about 1 1/2 hours (it's rated for @2hrs).

The display is bright and sharp with no dead pixels and in WinXP I
extend my desktop to a Samsung 900NF with 32bit, 1280x1024 and it's
beautiful.
