I'm selling my T40p, plus I'm throwing in an IBM 64MB USB 2.0 Memory Key and an Ultrabay 2000 Multiburner DVD-RW (for use in a Dock II or T20/T30/R40 notebook, if you have more than one). All for the low starting price of $1750... Buy It Now is set at $1995... includes UPS Ground shipping (buyer pays for additional insurance or faster delivery).
If anyone is interested, I'll check this thread for questions, and you can get in touch with me via Ebay or my hotmail address at conmee@hotmail.com.
Thanks,
Daniel

For those not overly motivated to actually look up the system at Ebay ;> or who think there might be a catch or problem for such a great price, here are the specs and description below:

***The Ultrabay 2000 Multiburner DVD-RW/CD-RW drive REQUIRES a Dock II Docking Station in order to use it with the T40p. It WILL work in T30/T20/R30/R40 notebooks that have Ultrabay 2000 bays. I used the Multiburner in a Dock II and an R40. It will NOT fit in the Ultrabay Slim that the factory CD-RW fits in, in the ThinkPad T40p. It does an excellent job of burning DVDs and DVD-Rs and CD-Rs.***

The system will come with a restored factory image which I restored from the recovery partition. In addition, all documentation and original box/packaging/ foam are included, so everything will be as it was from the factory. P.S. I dropped a toolbox on the ThinkPad box when it was empty and it smashed up the corner a bit--see picture--so I will put the ThinkPad in the original box and then put that in yet another box for added protection during shipping.
***CONTINENTAL US RESIDENTS ONLY!!!! NO FOREIGN/ALASKA/HAWAII/PUERTO RICO BIDDERS !!! Sorry!***
Payment will be fairly straight-forward: Paypal by Echeck or Cash Payment (PayPal credit card payments will need to add an additional 1.5% to the final purchase price to split the transaction costs associated with PayPal--there aren't any costs to send cash or ECheck via Paypal, Cashier's check, or Money Order. I used to accept COD, but it takes literally WEEKS just to get the money, long after the Ebay auction has completed. So.... PayPal (Echeck or Cash), Cashiers Check, Money Order. Simple.
I will pay UPS Ground standard shipping in the CONTINENTAL US ONLY as soon as I receive payment. If you want a quicker delivery method or you want to include insurance, we can calculate that and add it to the total auction price. Insurance will be roughly another $25 (I believe UPS charges $1.25 per $100 of value over the first $100).
If there are any questions, please feel free to email me in advance of any bid. I will be more than happy to answer any questions or work out any details.
Thanks!!!
