For Trade: IBM a/b/g WiFi II for Intel 2915abg

#1 Post by andrey » Thu Nov 10, 2005 2:10 pm

I'd like to trade practically brand new IBM Wireless LAN MiniPCI Adapter II a/b/g (Atheros chip) that came with my T42p (2373-P1U) for an Intel 2915 ABG adpater (IBM-branded).

Let me know what you have.

Just out of curiosity, what is wrong or you do not like about the IBM Wireless LAN MiniPCI Adapter II a/b/g (Atheros chip) that comes with the T42p (2373-P1U)?

I was thinking of upgrading my T41 to the T42P (2373-P1U) so I am curious....

I personally prefer the IBM (Atheros chip based) WiFi card to the Intel card.

I've "upgraded" all of my T4X machines to the Atheros card. I had numerous connection problems with the Intel cards when on the road, no problems at all since switching to the Atheros cards.
