never mind

#1 Post by benplaut » Tue Nov 29, 2005 3:14 am

<<I've decided to keep my T40>>

I'm looking for a good condition T23 with 512+mb RAM, 20gb+HDD, PIII 1.13, and a good screen (no dead or stuck pixels). All the better if the hard drive is empty, i have no use for windows anyway.

If anyone wants a trade (T23+$$$ for T40, of course), i'm selling my T40. 768mb RAM, 40gb 5400RPM HDD, P-M 1.5, IBM Atheros A/B/G WiFi (i put it in), and a standard 1024x768 screen. CDRW/DVD internal, USB floppy external, and Minidock included. It's in near-perfect condition, with only minor scuffs, and a small shiny spot on the space bar. Includes XP Pro restore disks, but i've never tried them (they should work). I don't have much of an ebay reputation, but my account is immamaben.

Pretty much just looking around for something at the moment, so if you know of a good deal elsewhere, post here.

I could be interested.
Size of the screen?
How old is it? How would you want to sell?

Hi I have a T23 26478RU

Pentium III 1.2 Ghz
768 MB RAM (upgraded from 256 MB)
I think the graphics card is S3 Savage 16 MB
14.1" screen (no dead pixels, one small bright spot, the LCD was actually replaced by IBM warranty with a brand new one b/c the original had dead pixels - about a year ago)
battery is kaput, definitely need to get a new one (over 100 cycles)
40 gb HD (4200 rpm)
CD-RW/DVD Combo IV Drive (upgraded from DVD-ROM)
No built-in wifi, though I have a netgear PCMCIA card for b/g
Windows XP Pro SP2 (I can do a clean install from the recovery partition if you like)
Warranty until June 2006

Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to know about it.

Ah yes, and my ebay account if you want to look at the rep is, can you guess, cliff320!
