Picked up a nice T21 over the weekend. It has the Windows 2000 Pro COA sticker on the bottom but no recovery CD's.
Anyone have a copied set they wish to sell?

Thanks
D

I have Win98 Recovery CD's for 600's and 770's and I can tell you that, except for having the IBM Wallpaper and logos on the System frame, I was much better off using a real Windows CD and d/l'ing the drivers and files I needed. And really, as far as the wallpaper goes, you can d/l that too. If you have a flavor of Windows you aren't using in another computer, ..for the official MS-legal line ;) format and install that version, go to the IBM T21 drivers page

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... Entry.y=13

and d/l, install what you need. Will save you $$ and let you partition/format the drive as -you- want it, not what IBM thinks should be done.

skygodtj, what you say makes sense except for one thing;

Mediamatics DVD Express...

There's an update for the driver on the IBM site, but where do you get the driver?

Gord.
