Anyone have a plastic x22 hinge cover? (right side when facing open laptop)

I dropped my x22 yesterday and cracked mine. It is purely cosmetic, but annoying. Anyone have one?

Thanks!

Haha, not at all! :?

I was setting my x22 on top of the refridgerator while getting something to eat and wasn't paying much attention to it. I somehow managed to miss the refridgerator and it fell about 6 feet onto the hardwood floor (that is layed onto concrete)

It was one of those times that I was scared to death to pick it up. I would have died if the screen had cracked. The music was still playing from the laptop's speaker. I picked it up and opened it. Fine! (other than the cracked hinge cover) This thing is darn durable. The battery had just

Two days ago I left it on the roof of a friend's Nissan Sentra and he drove off with it. I retrieved it an hour later still on the roof of his car, miles away in his driveway with about an inch of snow on it.

I have never, ever had trouble or been careless with a laptop until I got this Thinkpad. Probably just been stress recently.

I'm typing from it right now. I still can't believe it has survived all this crap. I have had friends who have dropped their laptops on carpet and it has pretty much ruined them right there, on the spot.

I've only had this x22 about a week and a half.

OUCH!!!

You should take pics of the damage and add it to the Pictures of your Thinkpad threads, and explain what happened. Many people would love to hear about how the X series handled such a disaster. (Note: In those threads you won't have to add an image warning to the subject line)

P.S.
You just gave my new little X20 more respect in my book. I was worried about the build quality since it feels so light.

If I had a better digital camera I would! My 1mp wouldn't even be able to show the crack in the hinge cover it is so small. There is no other cosmetic scratches at all, not even any scratches from this really. When it hit the hardwood floor it bounced and flipped a couple of times.
