I have two R52's for sale. I am now selling for ***price lowered to $799*** each. This is nearly half the best price I was able to find anywhere from an authorized dealer with a three year warranty (and 60% off the web price at Lenovo). I'd think that is a pretty good deal when about all you are giving up from retail is a box and 5 months of warranty (and no sales tax)!

- These are Lenovo's top-of-the-line XGA R52 models, not the "fire sale" models. Only some of the SXGA+ models sell for more, and notice these have the same graphics (X300 64MB) as the SXGA+ models so they will be far better for gaming since the engine don't have to support SXGA+.

Condition: These are essentially like new. I turned them on for a quick check and that's all. No defects I could see. One even still has the stickers on the outside it. I don't have the boxes for either unfortunately (and I don't have room for all the boxes I have now!). Oh, one of them does have a tiny little scratch on the top of the case that's about 0.75" long but not too visable (just for full disclosure).

By the way, if none of you have ever used an R52 you don't know what you are missing as they are wonderful little machines, and for someone who doesn't travel a lot they are fine replacements for the more costly T4x series. I was a snob for a long time and would only consider the T's, but after using one of these I'm sold! They have the same fine build quality (to my eyes and hands), and except for being a bit thicker & heavier they are more useful as they have Firewire too! In fact I've compared this model to a friends XGA T43 and I can't really find a reason to pay for a T43 unless maybe if I was a frequent traveler who was bothered by an extra 1/2-pound or so. Even then I'd be paying a LOT more to save that 1/2 pound! I for one will never buy another T for "desktop" use around the house as long as these R's are being built as comparable as they are. I was really sold and recommend everyone try one sometime and see for yourself, even if it's not mine. You might find that you too can save a ton of money on your next laptop purchase.
