I have a clean T23 in good to very good condition for sale. I bought a T40 and loving it, so it's time to sell this laptop.

Ebay prices for the same config is 379 and up plus shipping..

I think it's a fair price and I've dealt on this forum before and on EBAY as dorronto...

I agree with carbon_unit on the price. The problem may be the 1.0Ghz. There are a lot of 1.13 & 1.2's available and people may not understand that, in the end, there really isn't that much difference between the 1.0 and the faster ones.

If it matters to anyone I've dealt with dorronto several times and he is top notch. Heck I trust him so much that I ship things his way and just tell him to send me a check when he gets around to it. [Oh, by the way, I forgot to tell you I did get the Money Order for the battery so thanks!]

I'm checking with my regulars made up of local high school and college kids who are always looking to buy, or maybe upgrade the non-thinkpads being held together with duct tape. How this laptop has survived here this long without being sold is suprising.

I too have dealt with dorronto in the past (more than once) and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that might be interested.

FWIW, I am trying to see if I can get another buyer lined up for this T23, especially at this price.

I have been working with several Ford techs, to create a laptop that will sufficiently run their new WDS or ODB software (whichever it was as I keep forgetting which one it was).

They have wanted to try using laptops instead of PDAs that Ford recommends. If someone insists on using a laptop, they recommend a specific Dell or Panasonic toughbook for the work. The minimum requirements are a 1.0GHz processor and 512mb ram. As it turns out, the creater of the program, created the program using a THINKPAD no less.

They just don't offer support unless it is for one of the two specific laptops that they mentioned. However, I am there for them if they need help with the T23s.
