T40 recovery disks

#1 Post by jimmi1977 » Mon Jan 30, 2006 8:53 pm

I wonder if anyone can help me with these. I will pay reasonable fee by paypal to a person who wishes to put these on ftp and/or mail them to me. 50 dollars for these is a bit off, I already paid for windows XP license/sticker when I bought laptop...

Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure if there is a big difference between the recovery discs and just an XP disc, but if you just want a disc to reinstall XP with your exsisting COA in case your computer crashes, follow the guide here:

I have T42 discs. Will that work for you?

I have tried t43p disks, no success, probably because of different bluetooth chipset, the possibility of t42 disks working is less than 1/2... I'll wait for t40 disks.

Thanks anyways!
