Fine Experience with COOLNAME1

#153 Post by ArtShapiro » Thu Nov 09, 2006 1:36 pm

Mr. Coolname1 sold me a T42, advertised as being near-mint.

It was!

It was shipped very promptly and was impressively well packaged.

Alas, it didn't have the advertised amount of memory. An enquiry was rapidly answered with apologies, and that additional stick of memory was almost immediately entered into the USPS tracking system. That too came well-protected, and the machine is now fully up to snuff.

One couldn't hope for a smoother transaction or a better seller.

Just bought a T41P from Dimitri (forum member).

Transaction went quickly, smoothly and the machine is in beautiful condition.

I would definitely recommend anyone dealing with him.

I bought a PIII CPU from cmarti. The CPU was in mint condition and works fine. The shipping took a while, (6 work days) but that's not at all his fault. I chose the economy option for shipping, and my post office is lousy. (They've had mail from abroad lying around for days for no reason at my office)
All in all I'd surely recommend anyone to buy something from cmarti.
TP 600E:: Type: 2645 (Defunct. Description left for posterity.)
CPU: 650*1.08=702 MHz PIII with SpeedStep disabled. (Used to be 400 MHz PII)
RAM: 288 MB
HDD: 80 GB non-IBM
_________
TP T60:: Type: 2008-CTO
CPU: Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz
RAM: 3 GB
HDD: WD Scorpio Black 320GB 7200 RPM

Its easy to give kudos when everything is smooth and easy.

Harder , though ,when there are glitches.

A true measure of an excellent trader is how he/she resolves these issues.

Brentpresley is one of those excellent traders. Not only are his prices fair(to say the least) but he was right there to solve a problem when he needed to be.

Thanks again Brent.

Did the upgrade today and it is running very smooth and a little cooler (according to NHC) than with the celeron 1.5.

Thanks ed.

Big thank you to Kyocera . He overnighted the MO as payment for my R52. I was kept in constant communication throughout the deal! This was no doubt one of the smoothest transaction ever!

P.S- Thanks for the change :D
