I bought a cheap, bare Thinkpad from BobA. The Thinkpad arrived with a bad fan and, though we live 5000 miles apart, he sent me a replacement part free of charge. I was very impressed with his commitment to "customer" satisfaction which easily surpasses that of many professionals and businesses in spite of his virtually unbeatable prices. Thanks Bob!

I have recently had good dealings with sparta.rising.

Unfortunately shipping wasn't too kind to the item, but he has been very understanding and offered me a refund. I would definitely do business with him again!

+1 Positive feedback for Underclocker!

I purchased a x60s from him. AWESOME system! It was packed EXTREMELY well. UPS could have played football with the box and the laptop would have been fine!

:thumbs-UP:

My fear is that a video of UPS people playing football with boxes will wind up on YouTube! That box did travel 3000 miles. Smooth transaction on my end, as well.

Been awhile since i bought or sold anything on here....
But just sold last week a T43P to ScoCul.
My first time sending something to an APO address in the USA for someone over in Germany.
So far so good.Tracking shows it made it to the US address, hopefully it will make it over to ScoCul in Germany with no problems.

Thankful for schen in a recent sale that went awry in shipping. US Postal Service did everything but blend the T41 I sent him. I felt like I should have refunded everything and sent him another to boot. Worst shipping experience I have ever had with anything.

His graciousness was appreciated.

My education in shipping was furthered.

To all,

Just to add another very positive voice and recommendation for George aka: ajkula66. Just bought one of his A31p IPS machines and to say I'm happy with the whole deal is an understatement. Fast shipping, well packaged and great after sale support.

I'm now well on my way to almost having too many A31's. (almost, I only have 4, so far )

Thanks George!

Bought an X61t from legbone and am very happy with the condition of the machine. Shipping took quite a while but I'm sure Canadian customs had something to do with that.

edit: after further examination of the machine I have discovered that the configuration is not as advertised :

http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=81962

The tablet I received has a 60GB HDD and 3GB of RAM. According to legbone this was an honest mix-up.

Bought a nice R50p from ajkula66. No problems as usual. With the amount and quality of packaging it could have probably went through a minor armed conflict area unharmed, let alone the customs.
