I recently bought an x301 from 91011. It is absolutely immaculate, like new! I think I got a fantastic deal and am very happy with it. I highly recommend 91011!

Yet another good word about 91011

I'll add my voice to the chorus of praise for 91011. I just bought one of his "faux 201s" machines - a 200s WXGA+ screen on a 201 base - and the whole transaction was perfect from start to finish. Also, the machine is in really superb condition, and was packed with professional-level care.

John went beyond the call of duty on this one, by separately sending a part that I should have asked about when I first ordered the machine. I'm grateful and impressed, and I'll be back for more.

once again ajkula66 outdid himself.

we all know he's the best, but it doesn't hurt to say it again.

this x220t is the fastest, quietest, and nicest machine I've yet to own. condition like-new, and with so many hardware upgrades.

thanks, brother!

OH WOW! -- What comes in a NewEgg box, wrapped in air-cels, contained within yet another box, wrapped in triple-layer bubble wrap?

That's RIGHT! It's the T500 with switchable graphix ordered from   emeraldgirl  !

If you toss and turn at night over nightmares of people shipping precious ThinkPads in a manilla envelope, then take at look at how fine a machine looks when a person knows how to treat a ThinkPad right: http://oi62.tinypic.com/o6znfp.jpg (193KB image)

Yes, yes. No need to fret - Order in Confidence! Know that with emeraldgirl, a Master of ThinkPads is in control.

SO FINE  SO FINE

Had a positive transaction with Neil on here.

The T61 8895 he sold me as just as pictured and described.

Very happy with how informative he was, and helped me through the entire process. Shipped 2-day priority as well.

Will buy again, and would recommend anyone looking to get there hands on a thinkpad to consult with him!

Thanks again,

DWF

I bought a laptop HDD and two sticks of ddr2 sodimm ram from Backslashnl1. Communication was prompt, the items were securely packaged and quickly shipped out via registered and signed for mail.

One stick of ram throws memtest86+ errors, and crashed my laptop once, and after the seller was informed of this, he offered me the option of a full refund or a partial one, so I can keep the good stick of ram. This was very decent of him and the way to go, and I thank him.

Hope to do business with you again Backslashnl1, thank you.

Best regards,
Panagiotis

my good friend ajkula66 has some serious competition now, for selling me non-touchpad X series...! ha.

received a quite lovely x200t from emeraldgirl08.

as-described/better-than-described. packaged beyond-carefully. runs wonderfully. emeraldgirl08 has major 'grats/respect from me - "a Master of ThinkPads is in control."

I had a neutral, or partially positive experience, buying from Nameless. I got my order from em right away, but ey waited four months before cashing my cheque. My feedback to you: please either commit to checking forum private messages, or else equip your trading partner with a way to reliably contact you.

These long-time members were very pleasant to deal with: Johan, ajkula66 and schen. Thank you all.

And thank you Norway Pad for kindly and patiently trading with silly me.

I can certainly understand how that could confuse your accounting, perhaps he was sick or had some type of emergency or issues. Looking at his profile it appears he hasn't logged into the forum since July so something might be going on. In a case like this you may want to contact the forum administrators, they may be able to get you in touch with a member or contact them on your behalf. Hopefully the member is ok and that you weren't overly inconvenienced by this and I guess the fact the check was ultimately cashed indicates they are still alive, so that's good news.
