Nice contact!

Glad you like it, Carl. Perhaps I'm too picky when describing my goods?

Many thanks to brainpicker!

I bought an X6 Ultrabase from him. He is a excellent person to deal with, of course that's not a surprise to members of this forum.

Bought from : Harryc

thinkpad T41 with Dothan 1.8 and new hard disk

Great seller, quick communications and knowledgeable person (from the HDD programs installed ).

Had a few hiccups on the money transfer and thus I paid extra $25 on top of $28 for transfer fees to the BANKS! (errrr)

Machine as usual was amazingly new. KB new, case new ( how HarryC could sell a great machine like this ? heheh )

HarryC really package the laptop well, double layer with LOTS of insulation. as he said, it would take a slagehammer to crack it open.
(it took me 15mins ) heheh

I notice the HDD as well was not partition right ( 20 G left unpartition, luckly I fix it later with PM 8.5).

Overall

:D :D

Sold a T41 to yeohkt. It was my first international laptop sale, so I was a bit unsure of procedure, but it all worked out in the end. He is a trustworthy buyer, now with a nice T41...

Mats (MTH) and I have had a couple of transactions and everything went as smooth as if he lived in the next city. Sure, selling to a member in another country involves filling out a customs form, but if I can help someone with a need I believe I should at least give it a try. In fact, most of my items sold lately have been to Europe, and there were no problems for me as the seller (and the buyers are far more appreciative than most!). I encourage all sellers here to open their markets to more than just the country or region in which they live. You might just make a new friend in the process!

And once again many thanks to Yak (brainpicker).

The DVD Multi drive arrived in four days from the Sunshine state to my mailbox in Uppsala, Sweden. USPS Flat rate envelope is a very good service for small items, for bigger items the USPS EMS takes approx 2-3 days across the Atlantic ocean and trackable all the way.

Great service from and very pleasant conversation with Yak.

Best Regards,

Mats

Brainpicker's T60p

My praise is certainly not anything new, but I received the new, sealed box T60p from brainpicker yesterday. It arrived in just 2 days, nicely packed in an outer box with all the right foam and bubblewrap. The brand new T60p is just as he discribed it. I can not be happier.

Thanks again, Yak, for a flawless transaction!

Thanks to basscleff for the prompt shipment of several pairs of trackpoint caps. Somewhere along the way they got delayed as they just showed up after 25 days. It looks like something grabbed one of the corners and held on to it for awhile:

All's well on this side too as cmarti's SATA drive and enclosure arrived quite timely, and I'm glad his sweetheart can put the 7K60 to use as it was overkill for the external enclosure I had planned for it. I'd feel comfortable trading with him again for sure.

Everything went great with each seller. Much appreciated!

Just wanted to mention that the Multiburner and Portable Drive Bay 2000 I bought from lowie were not only a good deal, but that it was a real pleasure dealing with him. He's a nice guy, and I'd have no hesitation to buy from him again.
