Received various parts that I've bought from rjenovai, tony6264 and amrav. All three transactions have been absolutely flawless.

My highest recommendations for these fine ThinkPadders.

My good experiences so far!

#512 Post by gtphill » Fri Aug 17, 2007 2:56 pm

basscleff--cat tongues for my x40. the canuck mail took forever, but exactly what I wanted at good price.

underclocker--56w adapter to replace my busted one. Amazingly good packaging.

akao--very good deal on two used X40 batteries. Both work as advertised!

Recently purchased a T40 battery from jargoone.
Communication was excellent, shipping was lightning fast, and the battery was exactly as described. Couldn't be more pleased!

Secondary Kudos to the USPS, which I typically hate. Brett mailed the battery Priority Mail on Saturday. They claim 2 or 3 business day service and I pretty much expect 3 days for anything coming from very far. I received the battery on Monday morning!! We're talking about 2000 miles in less than one business day! Way To Go! to the flunkies at the USPS! :thumbs-UP:

Received crucial memory from kimo. Don't have a thinkpad to test them yet but I am sure they work fine. The item was well packaged and only took a few days to arrive. Excellent email communication with status update and tracking number. Thanks!

Chris (The Spirit Of X21) has been an absolute joy to deal with and I'd do business with him any day of the week. Highly recommended buyer.

Enjoy your "new" 570 sir, even if it ends up being a backup to a backup machine, there's still some life in that baby left...

Thank you and all the best.

Received Wireless card from Underclocker

#521 Post by kensplace » Tue Aug 21, 2007 11:03 am

Really fast delivery from USA to UK, well packaged, great comms, great item and price.

Works fine in my R32 - no problems at all. No hack needed, just works once drivers installed.

Many thanks to underclocker!

Take a guess at what I just bought from Mr. Ray (rkawakami), oh okay I'll tell you. It is a T23!!! Perfect, clean condition, so much better than I expected. He packaged this baby like it was going to the moon, super job :P I wish I had some more spare dough, I'd get a few more. Thank you so much Ray for all the superb detail work you put into preparing this laptop.

It is a gift for my DH, but I've been playing with it all night

Thanks Purcy for being so patient while I checked out your <strike> DH's "new" system. Hope you (and DH) have fun with the baby!

And I'd like to thank pianowizard for the safe and rapid delivery of an SXGA+ panel, inverter and ribbon cable for one of my T41s. A temporary head transplant was perfomed and the patient is alive and breathing!

Bought 10 round and 10 soft rim trackpoint caps from basscleff. He delivered perfect product, bagged in sets, with fast turnaround, and charged actual shipping cost. Great transaction.

Before I forget to do this again - jamerslong is an easy to work with buyer. He was looking for a 600X, and I happened to have one I was planning on selling.
