WTB: T42 System board or laptop with bad Screen

First post here (so be gentle).

My old T42 took a dive a few months back. At first the Video flickered, then the video driver would not load. I have read this is a common problem.

I'm pretty sure it's just the system board that's bad. Since I had already upgraded everything else, I was thinking of just getting a new system board and salvaging the rest.

My screen is the 1400x1050 SXGA.

Does anyone have any system boards to sell? Is the video problem fixable?

Do you not still have a warranty through IBM?

Unfortunately the warranty ran out 5 weeks before it died.

Good news is the T42 I'm typing on (the replacement) has 2.5 more years left. : )
