I have 3 X31's currently and one of them has to go to help pay for my new expensive hobby in astronomy. BTW I am looking for a Speers-Waler 5-8mm zoom eyepiece for $180 if anyone has one forsale or knows someone who does.

This is a USED Thinkpad X31 forsale that is under IBM warranty until Sept 24. The model# is 2672BBU. The specs are:
* 1.3 Ghz Pentium M cpu (fairly snappy since its the equivalent of a 1.9 Ghz Pentium 4)
* 20GB Hard drive (I have a 40GB drive that I would be willing to swap out but the drive would not be covered under the machine warranty just guarantee against DOA by me).
* Upgraded 512MB ram (2x256MB).
* Upgraded wifi to IBM Intel B/G mini-pci
* Brand new keyboard
* Recently replaced systemboard
* Battery holds a charge but not full any more (30.46 Wh vs original 47.52Wh)
* Includes AC adapter

The plastics are in good shape.

**** There are some light scratches on the display from the keyboard and a few light patches (probably pressure marks). I tried to capture with photo and grey background but didn't show up very well. Doesn't really impact usage of the display and the display has never bothered me. I do not know if you can be persuasive enough to get IBM to replace under warranty if it bothers you.

**** Preloaded with Windows XP Pro and includes COA but NO recovery CDs are included and there is NO recovery partition on the HD.

**** Does NOT include ultrabase or usb floppy or cdrom

I have purchased a few items from tselling including a laptop, and each time I was pleasantly suprised. The quality received was better than described. I just purchased a used X-series for a college student I work with not even an hour ago. Otherwise, I would be all over this X31 for sure!

I paid $50 less for a slightly worse X30 off the e-Bay.

Jump on this if you need it....it's an AWESOME price.

Hi,
If you still have this machine, I'd like to ask you a few dumb questions via email, and hopefully buy it from you.
Please send me a note at thatcher(at)mail.ru
Cheers,
