WTB: US Power lead
Hi guys,
I'm after a US power lead, just the lead, not a supply. I require the type which of course one end is a standard US plug and the other is the "mickey mouse" style 3 point connection.
If you are able to help and fall into one of these categories it'd be great...
1.) Based in the US and happy to post to a US address for a PayPal payment.
2.) Based in the UK and happy to post to the UK for a PayPal payment, cheque or BACS (would like to see some prefer to see some positive feedback on you on here first to pay by BACS or cheque).
If you have a few of these and prices are reasonable I may even be interested in a couple. Thanks.
Please drop me an email "morgi3 at gmail dot com" with your price including postage as outlined above. Thanks.
Otherwise can anyone tell me if I'd be ok using a fairly generic power lead? I presume there is nothing too special about it? Did I read on here someone saying that in the US you could just pick one up at a RadioShack store?

Thanks. I was just having a quick look at the US RadioShack website. Is this Compaq power cord the solution, looks like it should work? Maybe I am missing a better option? Thanks.
Meant to add, yes I have an official power supply, no problems there. Just of coruse I have a UK power lead and would like a US one for travelling.

Yes, that one will work. I just checked their site, they used to have one of the mickey mouse style cords, that plugged into the wall socket like a normal plug, instead of at a 90 degree angle like the one that you listed. My problem with this plug, would be that you would have to have it plugged in the the lower outlet of a normal two plug outlet, because the cord comes straight down instead of straight out.
