Maybe FS: SXGA+ screen for T4X plus other T42p parts

my T42p motherboard fried (bad contact between GPU and motherboard, but still have to replace the whole thing) and the repair center wants $2200CDN to repair the board, i definitely won't do it because i can't even sell it for $2200, and i can get a nice duo core for that price. However my parents went back to HK and IBM HK only wants $1000US for the board, thats double the difference!

anyway i heard that my SXGA+ screen can worth alot, ebay has one for over $500US, anyone interested please give me an offer, if price is good i might just sell the parts, but if there are no demand i will just repair the board.

PM 1.8ghz 533fsb 2mb cache
512x2 ddr 333
ultraslim bay DVD-RW 2x
60G 7200RPM
battery

also if anyone is interested in other parts let me know (it can be small stuff like keyboard)

if total i can get over $1000US i will sell it, if not i will repair it.
anyone interested email to miccocan@msn.com
thanks

Sorry i want to pause the sales for a while, i think i found a used motherboard, if it doesn't go through i will re-list it again

Man, that does suck. Since it is that much to repair, you might be better off just parting it out and taking that money.
I dont think you would get 1000usd for that until whole with a fried mobo.

Time to upgrade to a T60!!! :)
