Hey all, kind of looking into picking up a X60s, what would my trusty 2378-FVU be worth?

1.7GHz P-M
768MB RAM
CDRW/DVD
40GB 5400RPM
64MB ATI 9600
9 cell battery (almost new, 6-7 hours)
6 cell battery (2/3 capacity)
14.1" SXGA+ Screen 1400x1050

Very good condition, shows use, but nothing detracting from appearance at all.

Ballpark on ebay is $900. The screen will help you, as the SXGA is much more popular.

would help if you mention how old the laptop is and if the laptop still has warranty.

i'm in the market for a laptop so i might be interested.

I bought this laptop just about 1 year ago. It has just lapsed warranty. I believe you can purchase a warranty extension still, but you would want to consult Lenovo on that, rather than taking my word.

My motherboard just went bad, and I'm having it replaced today by an IBM tech.

The Thinkpad now has a 1 year 9x5 NBD warranty, expiring April 10, 2007.

While there's a very good chance that I will keep this machine now that I invested an extra $220 into the warranty, if anyone feels so inclined, I would entertain offers, including trades for a newer T60 or X60. I would obviously include cash in those deals. I would also listen to talk for an X40.
